We are hiring a gifted, versatile and ambitious junior visual designer to join the team in London. You will work directly with the leadership team using your intelligence, imagination, expertise and craft across a wide range of challenges and mediums. About the role:

  • You Will:
  • Use your skills, imagination and intelligence to communicate and bring to life customer experiences, insights and research, business and conceptual models and data sets.
  • Create beautiful, impactful presentations and reports
  • Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to discover, explore and create new products, services and experiences.
  • Be working on a range of business and challenges that involve designing for print and digital.
  • Use your design skills and intelligence across the creative journey from research, ideation, sketching and prototyping, crafting final solutions and on-going iteration.
  • Translate brand DNA into inspiring and coherent design languages and expression.
  • Produce and direct artworking for production creating assets for print and digital applications.

Expertise and experience:

  • The role will suit someone with one to two year’s experience in industry.
  • A Degree or Masters in a relevant subject e.g. Visual Communication or Graphic Design.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates your passion, thinking, approach, creativity and craft in a variety of project scenarios including print and digital.
  • A thorough understanding of form, typography and layout.
  • Mastery of visual design tools e.g. Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience of designing for print and digital including producing assets for print and use in digital applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Though understanding of brand and identity.
  • Understanding of human centred design approaches.
  • Nice to have:
  • Hand drawing and sketching skills.
  • Experience in designing for digital, for example responsive design.
  • Knowledge and an active interest in other disciplines such as user research, interaction and service design.
  • Front end coding skills HTML or frameworks such as Bootstrap.
  • Understanding of contemporary product development processes such as lean and agile.
  • Active interest in film making, photography and motion skills – able to use After Effects, Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro.
  • Active interest in writing and blogging.
